CSLS will act as a long-term retained adviser on activities which include investor relations, market marking, listing sponsorship, research, placements/capital raising to local and foreign institutional investors and corporate action advice in light of market realities.

Sector and company initiation Research

We carry out in-depth analysis of sectors and the players within such sectors, engaging internal and if necessary external research competence, in order to form an objective view.

These analyses not only aid our selection of the companies that we approach to partner with, but they also form the basis of the offer research that will be sent to and discussed with our clients during the marketing phase.

Market Pricing

In addition to the standard valuation we carry out during our sector and company initiation research. We also help in ensuring that our clients have a successful offer, by engaging with and getting feedback from a wide spectrum of investors in the pre-marketing exercise, and on the basis of that advise our clients on an appropriate listing price.

Local and International Listing

As members of the London, Lagos and New York Stock exchanges* we are uniquely positioned to act as sponsors and to list an issue in any of these markets, or in all of them either separately or simultaneously.

We help our clients arrange and manage institutional road shows to present their story to key investors in Nigeria, South Africa, Europe, US and Asia through our offices/partnerships in these locations

Underwriting/principle Investment

Assuming the business passes the requisite internal criteria set by the Group Investment Committee, which is generally the case with issuers we partner with, we like to put our money where our mouth is.
